I'm watching the youtube video of the interview right now. I saw them on "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" and the way they behaved was outrageous. They "found god" on the celebrity show and then went on a fast while in the middle of a rain forest. They even refused to drink the bottled water. Not very intelligent in my book. But hey, maybe they really have found god and have woken up to reality. I pray that they are being genuine, but I won't get my hopes up. I'll follow up after I'm done listening.

In the year 2000, in the early days of Survivor, reality TV, I pulled the plug and have been without TV since then. A couple of years later I went to a dinner with about 15 of my coworkers. I sat in the middle of the table. On my left they were all talking about the characters of reality TV show "A", and on my right they were talking about the characters in reality TV show "B".

I had no idea what any of them were talking about, but their conversations lead me to believe that the characters were actually people in their lives. I found myself at a dinner with 15 people that I worked with, with no one to talk to. Here we were, people working together every day and the only thing they had to talk with each other about was reality TV characters.

Now I stand back and look at this Spencer/Heidi situation. I suspect that they grew up in the culture and have had to survive the madness that made me unplug...and survive they did. It seems that there is a strange process going on of, "Negative attention is better than no attention".  It seems that they had learned to play the game, and a game it is.

If these two have played in the front line of the "reality TV" mind ****ing, and are struggling for the truth? Then no matter what they have done in the past, I will not throw stones at their feet.

I cannot imagine the twists and turns of the mind that are needed to survive in the absurdity of our current culture.

Time will tell of their awakening. For now, methinks that they will have serious problems ahead.

I suggest that we extend a cautious hand to them, do them no harm. Let us not prejudge them based on what they have done till now.

Time will tell.

This is my first post on this site.

Welcome & Excellent first post. One of the better ones Ive seen. I cant remember what my first post was. If I had to guess it would have been a question asking the infowarriors here for some sort of an explanation.

Ive been asking around about these two well known people. Trying to get some flavor about them. Ive seen them many times in that grocery store mags. One person told me we dont want them in the infowar, saying they are just looking for any attention they can get. My sister was excited they have joined aboard the infowar saying they will get millions of people at least looking up infowars and looking into some of the news articles. But she too said they are media hogs, and this could all go wrong pretty quick.

The coming days and weeks will be quite interesting. I wonder if there will be a Heidi Montag INFOWARRIOR poster we can all buy?

Until tonight I'd never heard of Speidi. IMO Spencer's got a good flow. I can understand everything that he's saying because he knows how to enunciate. *shrug* That's upon first impression. If the guy's got a good producer and he's going to be rapping about Truth and it winds up being released it would be a good thing......He just needs a good producer and, "dumbest person alive" or not, it would SOUND good.
