To single Stormfront out as a major support faction for Dr. Paul is exploitative. He had support from all walks of life. For a hack like Medved, who must've just gotten that talking point that same day as the shooting, to equate Ron Paul with white power is in line with what all the media were and are trying to do.

Let's say I run for president in 2012.  Then the media discovers that The American Cannibalism Party, whose 12 members donate $1000 to Derek for prez.  If I had support that exceeded several million donars/voters from all pursuations, and a member of this American Cannibalism Party did something stupid later, what relevance would that have to me, whether I won the office or not?  What relevance in terms of association, attachment, projection etc does <1% of anyone's constituency bear on their honor and reputation?

Agreed. Antiwar radio had a guest on who made the point that to be a Neo-nazi and be for small/anti-government is contradictory. One was all about socialism and bigger govt. The other is all about liberty and more civil rights.
