Eugenics Record Office

Curiously enough, the CSHL also hosted the Eugenics Record Office (ERO) in the early decades on the 20th century (until 1944). The ERO once led the field of eugenics research in the US -- the first country to embark on systematic, forced sterilization programs for the purpose of eugenics.

An especially appropriate host for this project, the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory was a center of research for the Human Genome Project, and ... served as the Eugenics Record Office during the early part of the last century

Carlos Slim Helú Joins RAND Board Of Trustees
December 16, 2008

Mexican entrepreneur and philanthropist Carlos Slim Helú has been elected to the RAND Corporation Board of Trustees, RAND President and CEO James A. Thomson announced today.

Slim joined the nonprofit research institutions’ Board of Trustees at its November 2008 meeting.

"We are honored to include such a distinguished leader in business and philanthropy among RAND’s trustees," Thomson said. "Carlos Slim Helú undoubtedly will help RAND build upon our 60 years of success in providing objective analysis and effective solutions that address the challenges facing the public and private sectors around the world."

In addition, Thomson announced that former U.S. Secretary of Defense Frank Carlucci has been elected "trustee emeritus," a category established by the Board of Trustees to retain the counsel and active involvement of a limited number of former trustees who have given outstanding service to the institution.

Slim is one of Mexico's leading businessmen, with major holdings in telecommunications, construction and many other industries. He was inducted into the Mexican Industrialist Hall in 2005 and was named Industrialist of Year in 2007 by the Mexican Foundation for the Health (Funsalud).

Slim has won several major awards, including the Medal of Honor of Merit from the Business Chamber of Commerce of Mexico (1985), the Golden Plate Award by the Academy of Achievement (1994), the Medal to Merit from Fundacion UNAM (2001), the Order of Leopold II Commander by the Government of Belgium (2002), and the Hadrian Award New York issued by the World Monuments Fund (2004), among many others.

Slim has been active with numerous philanthropic causes in Latin America. He provided a major endowment to the Carlos Slim Foundation, which supports a wide array of projects in education, health, justice, and personal and community development by contributing human and financial resources to equip Mexican society with the necessary tools to succeed professionally and socially.

Carlucci served as secretary of defense from 1987 to 1989 and is a past chairman of The Carlyle Group, a global private equity investment firm located in Washington, D.C. He also served in several other high-level U.S. government posts, including deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget, undersecretary of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, ambassador to Portugal, deputy director of Central Intelligence and deputy secretary of defense.

Monsanto is never far from The Carlyle Group

Carlyle - Frank Carlucci -> Pharmacia Corporation -> William Parfet  <- Monsanto

To get there we need to look at Pharmacia Corporation
http://investing.businessweek.com/businessweek/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=34141

Pharmacia Corporation engaged in the development, manufacture, and sale of prescription pharmaceutical products, including primary care, hospital care, cancer care, ophthalmology, and endocrine care products. The company also operated in other businesses, such as consumer health care, animal health, diagnostics, contract manufacturing, and bulk chemical sales. Further, it had equity positions in certain biotechnology firms. Pharmacia’s products were sold throughout the world to a range of customers, including pharmacies, hospitals, chain warehouses, governments, physicians, wholesalers, and other distributors. The company had offices, research laboratories, and production facilities throughout the world, with principal locations in Kalamazoo, Michigan; Skokie, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri; South San Francisco, California; Stockholm and Helsingborg, Sweden; Milan, Italy; Puurs, Belgium; Japan; and Puerto Rico. In March 2003, the United States Food and Drug Administration approved the company’s SOMAVERT (pegvisomant for injection) for the treatment of acromegaly in patients who have had an inadequate response to surgery and/or radiation therapy and/or other medical therapies, or for whom these therapies are not appropriate. We need to focus more on one of the up front players of Carlyle Chairman - Lou Gerstner

Gerstner is a member of the Tri-Lateral Commission, the CFR...and Bilderberger attendee.
Gerstner is also a Bohemian Grove Party goer....
Knighted by the Queen for his services...
"Gerstner was awarded the designation of Honorary Knight of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in June 2001."

His major connection to IBM makes him a Rockefeller co-conspirator...

Part VI: Lou Gerstner, CEO of IBM, a NWO leader

Posted By: vince
Date: Saturday, 11-Dec-1999 04:19:47 The old guard is changing and the new ones are arriving. No matter what one has to say about faction one, the old leaders had "some class" but the new ones well....they're brutal.

Consider Louis Gerstner, the CEO of IBM for seven or so years: During his tenure the following events occurred.

(1) IBM was criminally convicted of selling super computers to the Russians for atomic weapon research. IBM received only a $8.5M fine and it was in the news for only one day.

(2)IBM sold one the largest supercomputer in the world to China via Hong Kong. It is reported to be used in the chinese Eschelon project.

(3)IBM was caught in bribing and payoffs in a $250M contract with Banco Nacio in Argentina. The trail lead back to IBM Corporate in NY. IBM had a similar incidence in Mexico. IBM bought their way out of it via the political influence and money. Gerstner hired Podesta Associates. The owner of this firm has a brother who is chief of staff to President Clinton. Consequently Gerstner has an in the the White House.

(3) When Companies and individuals get in the way of their plan...they die!!!...Judge Bagnasco witness in Argentina. Other examples the murder of Joan LoDato in Kingston NY.

(4) Under Gerstner leadership IBM set up an Institute to tell governments how to act in the Information Age. Gerstner is a member of the Tri Lateral Commission, the CFR...and a voice in the Bilderbergers.

(5) Under Gerstner leadership, tens of thousands of americans lost their jobs at IBM. These same jobs were and are being transferred to IBM China and IBM India.

(6) Gerstner has a modest salary of only a few million a year. However over his tenure he made over one billion dollars from his stock options.... A poor boy who became rich...and sold his soul and lack of concern for the USA for money...This is an example of the new NWO leaders.

Gerstner's primary Rockefeller business connection is: He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/Memorial_Sloan-Kettering_Cancer_Center#encyclopedia

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is a cancer treatment and research institution founded in 1884 as the New York Cancer Hospital. ...

MSKCC is actually composed of two intimately-related institutions. Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases, currently led by Physician-In-Chief, Dr. Robert Wittes, provides patient care, whose origins stemmed from a medical laboratory established on the campus of Cornell Medical Center and funded by John D. Rockefeller in 1900. The original Memorial Hospital building was constructed in 1939 by a group that included John J. Astor and his wife, Charlotte. Between 1970 and 1973 a new memorial hospital was built on the same site - originally donated by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.

Sloan-Kettering Institute, currently led by Dr. Thomas Kelly, is MSKCC's basic-science research arm.
The research institute was established in 1945 with a US$ 4 million gift from the foundation of Alfred P. Sloan, Jr. (GM)  Half the gift was to fund construction of a 13-story research facility and the other half to provide annual operating expenses. Charles F. Kettering , vice president and director of research for General Motors Corporation, was to organize and apply modern American industrial research techniques to cancer research.

In addition to the Sloan grant, a public campaign to raise an additional US$3 million to US$4 million was undertaken and an important financier who stepped in at a critical juncture was the ongoing supporter Laurance Rockefeller , of the philanthropic Rockefeller family.

At the August 8, 1945 announcement, Sloan and Kettering emphasized that the dramatic news of the atomic bomb, developed with a US$2 billion research program, was a graphic illustration of what can be accomplished by scientifically-organized research as practiced by American industry. If as much money and talented personnel were available as the government had for the atomic bomb, they said, very rapid progress could be made in cancer research.

The current president of Memorial Sloan-Kettering is Nobel Prize  winner Harold E. Varmus .

Fifty-seven years ago, in 1947, Mr. Rockefeller joined the Boards of Managers of Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases. For more than half a century, Mr. Rockefeller lent his vision, his wisdom, his generous philanthropic support, and his unflagging enthusiasm to Memorial Sloan-Kettering to create what is recognized today as one of the premier cancer centers in the world.

Date : 08 April 2010

Serco is leading a new partnership to help government achieve its climate change commitments through the greater use of the UK's sizable offshore wind energy resources.

Serco, together with its partner Lockheed Martin, has reached agreement with the Ministry of Defence to introduce new radar technology into the UK Air Defence System that is resistant to the interference generated from wind farms, removing a significant planning obstacle to the roll out of future off shore wind power.  This business will be worth around £20m over two years.

I missed this as to the history of the founding of the Carlyle Group....

Witness of Rockefeller Co.'s CEO's "suicide" is product of Bankster Eugenics = updated - bump

James McDonald seems to be a similar character :

JOHN CARTER BEESE, JR who helped bring down Riggs Bank with the help of Jonathan Bush (George H.W. Bush's brother)  (like BCCI?)[/b]

Alan Greenspan works for John Paulson - CDO Billionaire

BAE Systems - bribes - Prince Bandar - 9/11 attacks

Remember Beese Jr. and The Carlyle Group and Bankers Trust? Slush funds and more slush funds...
...
A key player in the Marcos gold would be Banker’s Trust, which was taken over by Alex Brown & Sons, after Banker’s Trust floundered financially on its Russian loans in the mid 1990s.

These Russian loans were facilitated by Enron, starting in August of 1993, and very possibly were part of the Project Hammer takeover of Soviet industry. Alex Brown‘s involvement would bring to the forefront the names of three names of individuals who would play multiple roles in this mystery:
· Buzz Krongard·
Mayo Shattuck
· J Carter Beese Jr.

Buzz Krongard is reported as the mentor of Beese and Shattuck from their years together at Alex Brown.
Additionally, he managed the merger between Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank Alex Brown.

Bankers Trust, Zurich was a key Marcos gold holder. Krongard would move on to become Chairman of the investment bank A.B. Brown, Vice Chairman of Banker's Trust, and Executive Director of the CIA at the time of September 11.

...

[ Beese went on to run RIGGS BANK  After the RON BROWN plane crash took out a KEY Executive for Riggs ....Paul Cushman III ]  There seems to be a CIA Financial Network: No! Really?

JOHN CARTER BEESE, JR., a veteran of the Bush-connected Baltimore investment bank ALEXANDER BROWN & SONS over most of a 20-year span, was a pivotal figure in the founding of the merger-and-acquisition giant private equity fund, Carlyle Group.

Beese's contacts with the Bush networks go back at least as far as 1980, when he was the financial co-chairman of George Herbert Walker Bush's failed Presidential bid. It was at that time that Beese is said to have met Bush's Texas friend JOE ALBRITTON, just when Allbritton was buying into Riggs Bank.

Bush had previously become director of Allbritton's Houston Interstate Bank after leaving his post as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1976. Allbritton would eventually control 41% of Riggs' stock, and Beese would become a Riggs executive in 1998.

Beese, who committed suicide earlier this year, began his career with ALEXANDER BROWN in 1978, directly after graduating from Rollins College in Florida, where he had befriended Dubya's brother Marvin. Beese evidently became the protege of Alexander Brown's chief executive A.B. "BUZZY" KRONGARD, and by 1987, at the age of 30, Beese had become a principal of the Brown firm.

That same year, 1987, Beese became a founding director of the Carlyle Group, along with a small handful of people closely aligned with then-Vice President George H. W. Bush.

Beese was central in arranging the funding for Carlyle, which likely ran through Alexander Brown, and, reportedly, Mellon networks.
...

Yes, it is so depressing being a multi-millionaire in Malibu and knowing too many secrets ..... you could just die...  It is interesting that there is no mention of the CARLYLE Group in the Obit at all.... Humm...

J. Carter Beese Jr., a former commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and former principal of Alex. Brown & Sons, ended his life Sunday at a home in Malibu, Calif. The Owings Mills resident was 50.

Mr. Beese was being treated for depression, family members said.
...

n 1990, Mr. Beese was appointed as a director of the Overseas Private Investment Corp. Two years later, he was nominated by President George H.W. Bush to become one of the five members of the SEC. In his two-year term, he focused on cross-border capital flow, the derivatives market and corporate governance.

He returned to Alex. Brown and was chairman of Alex. Brown International from 1994 to 1997.

From 1997 to 1998, he was vice chairman of the global banking group at Bankers Trust.

Mr. Beese had been president of Riggs Capital Partners, a venture fund that was a division of Riggs National Corp. in Washington, from 1998 until 2005.

1996-7 (Just before Rigg's "buys"  J. Bush; Co . I guess he wasn't on board with the future changes at the bank.

Now Carlyle is going "Public" - so this is the end of the real Carlyle ....

JPMorgan Wins Lead Role on Carlyle IPO Amid Plunge in Offerings
September 06, 2011, 1:41 PM EDT
By Lee Spears

Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citigroup Inc. and Credit Suisse Group AG landed lead roles managing the initial share sale for Carlyle Group LP, taking one of the last major private-equity firms public in a faltering market.

The mandate may give the banks a boost among underwriters as companies and their bankers struggle to complete deals. JPMorgan currently ranks third for U.S. IPOs, while Citigroup ranks fourth and Credit Suisse is eighth, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

U.S. listings have slowed almost to a halt because of investors’ concerns about the economy, eroding fee income at investment banks. U.S. IPOs have been shelved or scrapped at a faster rate in the past three months than the comparable period of any year since 2004, Bloomberg data show. Only five offerings were completed last month.

UPDATE 5-Carlyle IPO could raise $1 bln-source

Wed Jun 15, 2011 6:47pm EDT

* Banks pitching for Carlyle IPO deal this week-sources

 * Carlyle offering could be around $1 billion-source

 * Raises two South America funds totaling $1 bln

 * Impossible to value accurately firm without financials (Updates with banks underwriting previous buyout IPOs)

By Megan Davies and Clare Baldwin

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES, June 15 (Reuters) - Private equity giant Carlyle Group [CYL.UL] is moving closer to an initial public offering and could raise around $1 billion based on what banks are pitching, one source familiar with the process said on Wednesday.

Carlyle, co-founded in 1987 by David Rubenstein, has yet to release any information about its profitability and management fees, making it impossible to accurately value how much it would be worth as a public company.

Carlyle was valued at $20 billion in September 2007, when an investment unit of the Abu Dhabi government bought a 7.5 percent stake in the company, before the credit crisis sent stock markets sliding.

It had an implied value of about $6 billion in June 2010 -- based on the $334 million value Calpers gave to its 5.5 percent stake, bought in 2001. Calpers, the retirement fund for California public employees, discloses the figure in its annual investment report under the section "Expansion Capital" tinyurl.com/5r2g8qa.

If Carlyle's value had appreciated in line with that of rival Blackstone -- which is up 60 percent since then -- it could be valued today at about $10 billion. A variant of this valuation method was previously reported by Fortune publication's Term Sheet blog.
