Daily Mail: The cloud with no name: Meteorologists campaign to classify unique 'Asperatus' clouds seen across the world:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1189877/The-cloud-Meteorologists-campaign-classify-unique-Asperatus-clouds-seen-world.html

Whipped into fantastical shapes, these clouds hang over the darkening landscape like the harbingers of a mighty storm.

But despite their stunning and frequent appearances, the formations have yet to be officially recognised with a name.

They have been seen all over Britain in different forms - from Snowdonia to the Scottish Highlands - and in other parts of the world such as New Zealand, but usually break up without producing a storm.

------------------------------------

But, our governments have a history of spraying us from the sky, so can we honestly believe that these are natural?

In 2001, United States Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced legislation that would have permanently prohibited the basing of weapons in space, and he listed chemtrails as one of a number of exotic weapons that would be banned.[22] Proponents have asserted that because explicit reference to chemtrails was entered by Congressman Kucinich into the congressional record, this constitutes official government acknowledgement of their existence.[19][23] But that bill received an unfavorable evaluation from the United States Department of Defense and died in committee,[24] with no mention of chemtrails appearing in the text of any of the three subsequent failed attempts by Kucinich to enact a Space Preservation Act. More reports in the mainstream news:

These are the guys attempting to get the cloud classified, they are the new "authority" of disinfo, worth checking out, here are some of their "clouds of the month":

Love 'em or Hate 'em?

Should we appreciate contrails or not? That is the question vexing cloudspotters the world over.

Contrails are those lines of cloud that you can see forming behind high-altitude aircraft. These man-made clouds only appear when the air up at cruising altitude is cold enough and moist enough to cause the water varpour in the engine’s exhaust to freeze into ice crystals and remain in the sky in the aircraft’s wake. So they are clouds – but ones that man has added to the natural cloudscapes.

But are these man-made clouds worthy of appreciation by the Cloud Appreciation Society?

Negative Contrails

We’ve all observed the worrying proliferation of condensation trails, or ‘contrails’, criss-crossing our skies in the wake of high-altitude aircraft. They look like man-made scars across the blue. But how many have noticed the much less common but related cloud effect, known as a ‘distrail’?

Serpents of the Sky

Cirrus clouds form towards the top of the troposphere*, where the winds are much faster than below. As a result, Cirrus tend to be the fastest moving of all cloud formations.

http://cloudappreciationsociety.org/the-kelvin-helmholtz-wave-cloud/
heading_kelvin_helm.gif
The classic 1964 surfing documentary, The Endless Summer, followed the adventures of three surfers traveling from Malibu to Ghana, via Nigeria, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, and Hawaii in search of the perfect wave. Cloudspotters can experience their own perfect wave too, without ever having to leave home – all they need is a lot of patience. The only down side to the ultimate aerial breaker, is that it has the particularly un-hip name of the ‘Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud’.

http://cloudappreciationsociety.org/%E2%80%98whale%E2%80%99s-mouth%E2%80%99-june-%E2%80%9906/
Cloudspotters who find themselves in the path of a ferocious ‘multicell’ or ‘supercell’ storm system, may have the unsettling experience of looking up into a ‘whale’s mouth’. This is the name storm chasers give to the huge, dark void that can appear in the region below and ahead of the storm.

The Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques (Geneva: 18 May 1977, Entered into force: 5 October 1978) prohibits "widespread, long-lasting or severe effects as the means of destruction, damage or injury"

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=viewArticle&code=CHO20051127&articleId=1336

However it has been argued that this permits "local, non-permanent changes Prior to the Geneva Convention, the United States used weather warfare in the Vietnam War. Under the auspices of the "Air Weather Service" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Weather_Service, the United States used Cloud seeding"  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_seeding over the Ho Chi Minh Trail http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho_Chi_Minh_Trail , increasing rainfall by an estimated thirty percent during 1967 and 1968, in an attempt to indefinitely extend the monsoon. It was hoped that the increased rainfall would reduce the rate of infiltration down the trail.

US Code 1520a http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/50/usc_sec_50_00001520---a000-.html:  Restrictions on use of human subjects for testing of chemical or biological agents unless it is for any peaceful purpose, including agricultural (weather modification?) so long as informed consent is sought.

But a nasty loophole in Section 1515 of Chapter 32 http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/uscode50/usc_sec_50_00001515----000-.html allows informed consent to be suspended by executive order during a period of national emergency, a situation under which this nation perpetually labors

I also read some where (and yes i1`m para- phrasing) that it was basically ok if it was a test for the greater good and in times of war.

If i knew how i would make a poll on what people believe these chemtrails are "for"

Myself i`m stuck between weather modification and some kinda dispersable military ariel . . .

Me and Chris saw the EXACT SAME THING yesterday in Dallas, in the West, around Sunset...the clouds were actually swirling downwards and looked like an ice-cream cone, and the rest of the clouds looked "unreal", they looked like they were being pulled down and up at the same time. It was kind of disturbing.

A new kind of cloud? (BBC News)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8076000/8076805.stm

There is indeed talk of a "New kind of Cloud" which they even want to give a new name.

That's strange cause we, homo erectus, have been round this planet for quiet some time now and never noticed that before?

This is of cause ridiculous which indeed points in the direction of weather control.

Another article here, Daily Mail again. No mention of the blatent geo-engineering going on here. Just horrific. Its like the clouds you see on Ghost Busters. Was that predictive programming? Notice, the new names they are dropping for this previously unseen phenomena, they discuss super cells, shelf clouds and rain feathers. Well, somebody may correct me on that, but it all looks engineered to me.

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1334672/Jaw-dropping-image-enormous-supercell-cloud-Glasgow-Montana.html#ixzz17CK4hh8l

A super cell thunderstorm crosses a path and continues unabated across the plains on July 28th

The super-cell storm begins to build - before unleashing a powerful torrent of rain down onto a Montana field

The belly of the thunderstorm as it begins to wreak havoc

A shelf cloud passes overhead as the super cell storm looms ominously in the sky

Rain feathers dancing across the western prairie in August 2010, in Glasgow, Montana

Like scenes of the apocalypse these incredible images are the stunning results of one man's mission to capture stormy skies on camera

You r defo right on most things planning 4 but to me those look like wall clouds - the kind of thing that appears under tornadic supercells.

Amazing pictures nonetheless.

Me too - bit of a  would be storm chaser (if we had any storms good enough to want to chase here) they do look like that to me . . .

BUT the original asperatus clouds posted above are something else. I have no clue what weather might make them appear !
