Torture photos from Abu Ghraib

Posted here because sanitizing war perpetuates war and the insane, sadistic, fascists that perpetrated this foreign policy, must be jailed for life to protect humanity, and the apathetic, indoctrinated sheep of America must know what they have done, what they have agreed to, and what they have allowed to happen in their names.

The neocons and their PR stooges in the corporate media want us to debate whether or not waterboarding is torture (a debate only a desensitized sadist would even consider) and these photos show the effects and application of torture on POWs, in violation of every law of civilization.

Ive seen that woman pointing to the masturbating prisoner in the exact same pose in another much more benign pic long long ago. In the EXACT same pose.

There's absolutely no reason to post those inside the forum. There's no age restriction to enter the forum. You're potentially doing more harm than good. Kids could be on here. A simple link would have been fine.

And to think the majority of the idiotic American public thinks waterboarding is the worst of it, God help us.

perhaps we should move this to torture?

I'm appalled to say "thanks" for this valuable criminal evidence.

ndictBushNow Freedom of Information Act Request:
DID BUSH AND CHENEY ORDER TORTURE TO JUSTIFY IRAQ WAR?

Dick Cheney can lie, but he will not be able to hide from the truth.

With your help, IndictBushNow.org - working with attorneys from the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund - are exposing this central fact: The barbaric torture inflicted on prisoners by the Bush-Cheney interrogation teams was not to "protect the country from attack" but rather to fabricate the false rationale for the invasion of Iraq.

Please make an urgently needed donation now to help support the movement for the prosecution of Bush, Cheney and other officials:
http://www.impeachbush.org/site/R?i=STaC9NfeIucztMX78OC5sA..

"The central defense put forth by Cheney is that the Bush administration's torture regime protected the country from terrorist attack. But the fact is that torture was used for the personal political goals of Bush and Cheney: namely, to sell their Iraq invasion to a very skeptical and disbelieving country," stated Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, attorney and co-founder of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF).

The PCJF filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on behalf of itself, IndictBushNow.org and the ANSWER Coalition demanding information regarding the detention, torture and death of Ibn al-Sheikh al-Libi. We are seeking expedited release of this information. Under conditions of extreme torture, al-Libi agreed in 2002 to supply the Bush-ordered interrogators what they sought as a political cover for Bush's marketing of the pending war of aggression against Iraq.

To read the actual FOIA, click here:
http://www.impeachbush.org/site/R?i=4am5wadLG2B4Pt2RQTAavA..

Yesterday, Cheney went on national television to complain about the threats from criminal prosecution for Bush-era officials. He and the Bush gang have every reason to be worried.

Al-Libi's tortured and knowingly fabricated testimony was the source of information used by Bush to sell the war to the U.S. Senate, and the source for Colin Powell's bogus and lying presentation to the United Nations in 2003. What were the questions put to him under torture?

With your continued support, we are building a truly massive case for prosecution. The Constitution requires nothing less. Please make an urgently needed donation right now so that we can continue to build this nationwide campaign with demonstrations, rallies, newspaper ads and a nationwide lobbying effort:
http://www.impeachbush.org/site/R?i=FCmS2R383Yc-dboV2jECNA..

This information about al-Libi's imprisonment and questioning under torture must be revealed and the FOIA demand we have issued will do just that. The dueling press conferences and the debate erupting among the political leadership from the current and prior administrations makes the relevance of this information central to addressing once and for all the criminality of Bush's and Cheney's torture program.

The forum is only supposed to be for 18 and older, anyway, so children shouldn't be on here in the first place. However, the pics ARE graphic and DO contain nudity, so as far as pulling them, it's a toss-up, honestly. Good luck to the mod for this board with your decision, but I would recommend pulling the photos but leaving the link, if it were me.

Yeah they're only the old brownie-point photo set they took for Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney to masturbate to back in Abu Graib but I never saw any other than the one with the girl.

It's hard to imagine the evil, i can't wait to see the huge mountain of the rest of them they're so terrified to admit to. Great stuff for the Bush Library - I'll donate to it!

I changed the title to reflect reality.

I really think the "private parts" should be fogged just out of basic decency, but it's important to see there was none too.

I think sanitizing them is as bad as what Obama is doing maybe should defer to the judgement of higher powers here

In my opinion there would only be 2 reasons to post the pictures here:

1] if we "broke" the story (which we did not, I believe Sy Hersh did).

2] if we felt that the pics were going to be removed/censored (which seems unlikely).

That is why the link seems to be sufficient.

I am open to the possibility that I may have overlooked things here.

Quite honestly I can't look for stuff this disgusting so it's good to have a link to it at least, it is repusive but it's also truth.

We watched the Daniel Chapter 8 Show on 9/11 so now we should and well can deal with this too, it's unfortunately what makes us tick.

Things become new crimes after they happen, out of sight is not out of mind, let's keep it that way.

Get people outraged and make them demand justice is all I have to say.

I had no idea these were even so bad.

Yes they were not new, maybe for some people, but I for one was not among them!

And that is the problem because nobody has the twisted curiosity to seek such garbage out - but all our new enemies, thus created, most certainly likely have been "allowed" to see them all.

The sanitized nonsense they showed of them in MSM was nowhere as outrageous as these each so obviously are, and this is just the tip of the iceberg!

It's LONG PAST time to put the big boy pants on and realize the incredible American shame, American tragedies and American obscenities we are talking about ignoring and defending, otherwise it's all dismissed as some sort of wimpy soft-bleeding-hearted boo-hoo whining about some BFD brown sandrat radicals who were "made to blow bubbles".

It's PC foolishness like that which you appear to support that allows a hideous war criminal like Cheney to show his ugly, diseased, criminal mug in a public place in America and be politely applauded and seriously listened to.

those photos are available with 2 more clicks than if we had left them up.

Do you know why these events even occurred? THIS IS NWO PR. this is the OTHER SIDE of the psych warfare, because think about it...the troops were the largest Ron Paul supporters and are waking up in record numbers.  And all of a sudden, these pics just happen to re-surface. Whoever sees these just follows the "truthteller"'s lead and blames the "neocons" for it, just re-inforcing the false left-right paradigm
OR
becomes inflamed against the troops IN GENERAL instead of seeing this as a NWO PR STUNT and in doing so, does EXACTLY what the NWO wants us to do right now, which is put a rift in between the troops and the US Citizens to divide and conquer. They want the U.S. to hate the returning vets, the troops, etc. because they want to help stimulate the defensive emotions that will be required to heat up both sides of the upcoming hot war on the American citizens (if it gets that far, which I think we all hope it doesn't.) If they decide to go "hot war" with us (like mass gun confiscation or something), most of the troops would say no to shooting american citizens, THAT'S why they need to try to do everything they can to make the rest of the world hate us and make the U.S. hate the troops, and so on and so forth. It's divide and conquer, over and over. If they can get everyone pis*ed off enough at the wrong people, they can start a war, genocide, whatever they want.
People have been tortured like this for years, and I agree that the photos are important to help wake people up who are particularly defensive of the use of torture or who say things like, "We don't torture", "Waterboarding is the extent of the enhanced interrogation techniques", etc. but there's no need to advertise them over and over like that.

"when they came for the Afghans I did nothing"

Show them now, show them here, show them all, show them forever, show them again and show them everywhere!

Our troops didn't do this, Bush's Demoblican/Republicrats did!

Ok, so you're gonna go for the re-inforcement of the false left-right paradigm, then, because Obama's FOR the continuance of all of this kind of stuff and so we need to make sure people understand also that this is bi-partisan, this is both parties now that are supportive of this kind of crap.
