The Hegalian Dialect:Control thru duality. Guide and manage a conflict and chaos so both sides have the same destination(order). It symbolizes a pyramid meanig left thesis vs. right thesis =middle thesis. 1 leads to 2 leads to 3.The 3rd is possible because of and NOT insipit of the 2 opposing sides.

Yes I understand the plea for freedom... yes instinctively we all want freedom... it's a right.

Yes.. 51% do restrict the freedom the 49% in a democracy and that isn't right.

Yes.. 99% have no right to tell 1% what to do as Russo says.

That sounds ideal... it's true even... however....

The reality is that EVERYONE has a list of people who they think should not be allowed to do certain stuff, I bet even Russo did.

Child porn for instance.. what right does the 99% have to tell the 1% (or much less hopefully) what they can and can't look at?

So once you agree that there are in fact some things that YOU would stop other people doing... where do you draw the line?

Who protects you against the bad guys?

Who defines who the bad guys are?

One persons bad guy is another persons good guy.

Do the bad guys have rights of freedom as well.

It's the human dilema.. we want liberty and we want protection, but how can we be free if there are things we can't do because there are protections?

I don't know any system that has every existed that guaranteed complete freedom.

People will always need to stop other people doing stuff - for good or bad.

Russo talks about his film "America; Freedom to Fascism"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1465ygw5HU

I agree with what he says.. the Fed is bad, people's taxes go to pay off interest that they should never have to pay.

It's great stuff.

But let's be clear, this is Russo telling everyone how the system should be run (or not run, same difference) - the 1% telling the 99% - and it's never going to happen unless he gets the majority of Americans to agree with him.

He would have been happy to disband the Fed via the democratic process unless he is advocating violent revolution.

Yes American is a republic, but the republic is and always has been tied into a Congress and Congress always reached decisions via  voting.

The decision to declare American independence was made after a vote at the 2nd Continental Congress (unanimous but the principle remains).

America is a republic democracy, the majority has always decided for the minority, right from day one.

I repeat however that Russo was entirely right about the Fed and the growth of Fascism in America, but outside of violent revolution the alternative is peaceful revolution using democratic principles in an American Congress.. like it always has been.
