What did you decide on? Shotgun, or High-Point 9mm?

LOL, I was thinking the same thing.  I have a PPK that I haven't used in years and I was able to take that apart in a few minutes.  Not field strip.  Literally take apart piece by piece...

So I'm better than you truth Tongue

Ah, sweet. Congrats on the field strip, TruthSeeker!

I took down my SKS the other night - had it in 14 pieces on the kitchen table. Let's just say that turned into about a 5-hour-long project...

Damn,Joe.I told you how to do it.Glad you finally got it though.now;back to my instructions:
1 disassemble
2 reassemble.

3 repeat
4 repeat
5 repeat

apply blindfold
disassemble

reassemble
if unsuccessful refer to steps 1,2 and 3(especially3,4,and 5)

it is good to know your firearm as an extension of your arm or hand.even with your eyes closed or in the dark.
good luck.

they generally want you to be able to disassemble a shotty in a little less time.

M-92f apart and back together in around 6 seconds, field not every spring, total component tear down, and reassembly10 minutes.

Like the man said,
diassemble
reassemble
repeat
repeat

do it while you sit in front of the idiot box, a night or two of that, and you'll have it down to seconds.

Ar-15 shouldn't take longer than 30seconds, that includes BCG tear down.

You got to know what you are doing for that kind of money. Previous operator skill are required.

You just gotta google it. I know one guy that just retired from Blackwater, and is doing his own now. He watched Endgame, and quit afterwards. Smiley

yea mossies are bitches to fully strip in comparison to the remmington 870.  twist off the cap that holds the barrel in place, pull the barrel off, press a pair of springs on the inside wall where the ammo is loaded underneath, pull pump straight out with the firing pin assembly, tap out two pins, pull out trigger assembly.  Reverse for reconstruction.

The trigger on mine is a bitch to get back in. You practically have to jump on the f**king thing to get it to lock in place.

it is either the 500 or 590 that differs and requires you to pull out the trigger assembly first before the firing pin assembly.
