Consumers have an image of what an organic farm is, and that image rarely includes dairy operations covered in filth and teeming with disease. Yet, the truth of the matter is organic dairy operations are no better than their chemical-ridden conventional counterparts, something we recently found out the hard way on our small-scale certified organic dairy farm.

Many of you know that we bought our organic diary farm five years ago after running a CSA market garden for over a decade. When the chance came to fulfill our dream of operating a dairy farm, we grabbed it. Being the noobs that we were, we relied heavily on the organic dairy community to guide us, mistakenly believing that we would find support among other organic dairy producers. It states plainly on that site to not copy.  Are you J. Cook the writer of the article?

the link provided in the article brings one to another editorial without citing source materials or reports.

Please do post real articles and real sources, I am very interested in organics and have used the horizon brand when I cannot locate local farmers' products. 

I would like more verifiable information before I discredit any company in my shopping habits
