Now that's putting your money where your mouth is!

I hope more will follow his lead and get into the trenches and try to effect change through integrity, instead of game playing. Most of the guys there now should be in contact sports because that's how they treat our Congress. It's about who can beat who at the game of politics. It's time to bring ADULTS into the trenches go get rid of the spoiled brats who have no sense and who go along with anything and anyone as long as they're paid well in money or power.

KIDS, your time in Congress is coming to an end. You either start doing your job, or we will be kicking you out!

Yes he is, yes he does, but the OP needs to fix his headline.

He's planning a primary run in Kentucky to replace Bunning on the Republican ticket.

For what it's worth, I voted for Ron Paul in the primary elections in '08.  His message made sense and it was consistent.  The problem is is that if a politician like him would get elected as president, what would get done? There aren't many politicians in Washington who share his rhetoric and IMHO all I would see would be politics as usual!

Now I like Rand Paul too but I think the same goes for him.  He's the son of Ron Paul with the same message but what is someone like me voting for him going to change?  Really, I would love to say YES, THIS IS CHANGE THAT WE CAN BELIEVE IN but is it really?  Think of what would happen if someone like him gets into office.  Sure, there might be a handful of those in congress willing to "reach across the aisle" so to speak but that's only a handful.

It's not even worth getting out to vote.  I don't care who runs next election, I believe our time for democracy has run out!

Don't vote!  There is no one to vote for!

I live in Kentucky and can tell you people are sick of the same "good ole boys" as we call them in the senate and other seats.  If he runs as a Republican, he'll win.  KY is definetly a red state, hah.  Guess I'll be a terrorist if I have 100 Rand Paul bumper stickers on my car.  Hah   Grin

*cough couth couth* Ron Paul *Cough*

Rand was on AJ show yesterday, and he's is every bit as bright as his dad. You need to listen to how he talks.

AJ Show Thursday, May 21, 2009: (Go to Time: 36:30 - 1:00:00)
http://www.ajpfiles.com/May2009/Alex.Jones.5.21.2009.mp3

A MUST HEAR! WE NEED THIS GUY IN THE SENATE! PLEASE SPREAD HIS NAME AROUND. THIS IS THE TYPE OF GUY WE NEED, AND WE NEED TO FIND MORE OF HIS TYPE AND THE RON PAUL TYPE TO RUN FOR CONGRESS. WE NEED "REAL MEN" WHO WON'T BE COMPROMISED AND WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR COUNTRY, AND INTEGRITY!

Quote
He spoke about giving a speech at Knob Creek Shootout in Kentucky. He told the guys "I'm a great defender of the 2nd Amendment, but if you want the 2nd Amendment, you must defend the 1st Amendment also (free speech). If you don't defend the 4th Amendment, they can snoop in your home and personal affects for your guns."

THIS GUY UNDERSTANDS, AND NOW THESE 2nd AMENDMENT SUPPORTERS ALSO UNDERSTAND. THIS IS REAL LEADERSHIP, FOLKS!

Sane gave the link to the Knob Creek speech above:
