Does anyone know why sometimes the downloads from Alex's show will not play in Windows Movie Maker?  They will play in Windows Media Player, but when I import them into the movie maker to make clips all I get is a black screen with no audio.

It does not do this all the time, but it is doing it today and it is making me crazy since I want to get Dr. Carley's interview up on YouTube today.  I know Windows suck, but it's all I got right now.

Are you downloading the windows media  version, flv won't import to movie maker but wmv files should easily.  :ot ;ess trpuble to get Adobe premier elements get an extra hundred, easy as movie maker to start and features of professioanal programs as you get more used to it.

Yep, I take the wmv version.  I might just take my Mac back from the husband and use their media program.

youtubedownloader

That's what the program's called.  Just downloads from YouTube then in a separate function converts it to wmv.  Brilliantly simple, easy to use.
