The General would be a fun guest. His current political leanings would put him as a RP supporter, but he hasn't endorsed anyone.
PM me if you'd like his publicist's e-mail.

I think that definitely be good. He did an album called the system that failed and it had a few politicians in thier suits and ties while one was ripping the heart or the soul out of whoever or whatever was laying on a table or watever it was if anyone knows what i am talking about or if anyone has seen it.
I should have bought it then but still have to go out and get it.
Great suggestion. I hope Alex sees it.

He is definitely more informed than most musicians, but it seems like he is still a few steps behind the reality of the NWO situation. THE U.N. IS FOSTERING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!!! DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY!

4. United Abominations
[Music and Lyrics Dave Mustaine]
Within striking distance from Ground Zero sits a smoldering international cauldron, the United "Abominations" as it were. Born to prevent wars, it froze in the face of disaster and stood silent while terrorization to hostage of the world In a mire of hypocrisy, the U.N. ignores sex crimes by its "blue helmets", and enables terrorism; so in the end it's failed and the U.N. is where our so-called friends get to stab us in the back and we pay 22% of their tab to host our enemies here at home.
Ambassadors from countries enjoy otherwise known as a catastrophe, enjoy Diplomatic immunity living in Manhattan, while their children are turned into prostitutes It's a complete and utter disgrace, a blot on the face of humanity, and they get away with it.
Poverty in their kitchens Held hostage by oil-for-food Yet their own plates are full off the fat of their lands There's no blood on their hands, right Kojo? They promised to tell the truth Without leaving a fingerprint, They will lose the U.N. one way or another The victim, I fear will be us, sisters and brothers
The U.N. is right; you can't be any more "un" Than you are right now, the U.N. is undone Another mushroom cloud, another smoking gun The threat is real, the Locust King has come Don't tell me the truth; I don't like what they've done It's payback time at the United Abominations
A grave and gathering danger The decision to attack Based on secret intelligence it'll take years I fear to undo the failings in Iraq, Iran, and Korea You may bury the bodies
But you can't bury the crimes only Fools stand up and really lay down their arms No, not me, not when Death lasts forever
The U.N. is right; you can't be any more "un" Than you are right now, the U.N. is undone Another mushroom cloud, another smoking gun The threat is real, the Locust King has come Don't tell me the truth; I don't like what they've done It's payback time at the United Abominations
"The U.N. writes resolution after resolution and has become irrelevant through inaction and totalitarian paralysis," "Order, Order!!!" "Ha! There is no such thing as order" "Larry, it's true, reports confirm today that the United Nations has officially closed its doors forever," "Well, I just don't see what all the fuss is, because they don't do anything anyway, do they?"
The U.N. is right; you can't be any more "un" Than you are right now, the U.N. is undone Another mushroom cloud, another smoking gun The threat is real, the Locust King has come Don't tell me the truth; I don't like what they've done It's payback time at the United Abominations
NATO invaded Yugoslavia to end ethnic cleansing, there was no U.N. The U.S. invaded Afghanistan after 9/11, there was no U.N. Saddam Hussein violated 17 U.N. resolutions; The U.N. was asked to join the war in Iraq. The U.S. invaded, Ha! there was no U.N. Libya bombed a discotheque in Berlin killing Americans, there was no U.N. Iran funds Hamas, and attacked the U.S. in the seventies, there was no stinking U.N. Facing War without end, looking into the future, there was no more U.N.

5. Gears Of War
Ethnic cleansing with no defending These acts of genocide A fatal ending with no surrendering To cover up the crimes and lie
Smart bombs, precision guided armament A more sophisticated way to end up dead Still we search and invent such intelligent weapons That kill each other like the Gears of War Hoo-rah!!!
If you ride with thieves, then you die with thieves Cross my heart and hope that you die, that you die! When the smoke has cleared, the devil's in the mirror And you see his warheads paint the sky, now you die!

seems to confirm his statement that the u.n. only turns a blind eye to world tyranny. he's too much of a "patriot" to ever actually implicate the u.n. or the u.s. govt. directly.

Megadave has always liked to talk about himself and his views alot, he did seem to be aware of the corruption, but not on the global level. Someone needs to sit him down to watch some of Alex's films. I do disagree with Alex on one issue though. This is definatley NOT one of his better albums Anyone looking to get into his music should start off with this one:

Dude, he has an album cover with barrels of oil blowing through the UN building with streaks of fire eminating. i'm just commenting on what he said on the show. i am more inclined to believe what the man says, than what some artistic consultant decided to put on the album cover. artistic expression is one thing. core beliefs are another. like he said, you never have to ask him what is on his mind. he is very direct. if he believed the u.n. was directly fostering tyranny, he would have said it. on top of that, most of what he said alluded to the fact that he doesn't believe that the u.s. govt has been, and is currently putting forth policies in order to usher in marshal law. he is blinded by how "great" our country is. that of course is just my opinion.

Holy Wars is a great tune... love Freidman's work with the altered chords and scales.
But I gotta say.. Mustaine calls himself 'The General'? What...
Dloading the podcast, look forward to it as always.

Living in Tampa, I didn't like that nuking Orlando comment. I thought to myself, "That's a real ignorant thing to say, even if it is an attempt at humor."
Secondly when he mentioned that he likes watching the news on TV... I was like ....Oh God, I hope he's not talking about Fox News.
Lastly, I'd have to agree, he did sound like he credited himself for awakening AJ.
P.S. don't you all remember Megadeth did that soundtrack song for Universal Soldier II: The Return?
CRUSH!!! Crush'em! (what garbage, the song and the movie, can we say...Transhumanism?)

Megadeth also did the a cover of the Duke Nukem theme on the soundtrack album: http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/5727/scoreby1c1cf6dazu1.jpgSeriously tho, enough with the Mustaine-bashing. Megadave has always been egotistical, don'take it so seriously. Just cause he's not on the Alex-level of awareness doesn't make him a "tool" (a band that can't even compare to Megadeth btw) Would you rather have another metal album about "666deathsatankill" or one that addresses political corruptions? And as for a note about the cover art, Dave didn't come up with this artwork. His website had a contest where fans submitted art for the new album, and the winning art would get re-done by a professional artist and put on the cover.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's super cool that Megadeth Dave took time out of his busy schedule to be on the show. I was just being a little knit picky, don't mind me

Awesome show, thanks Alex for inviting Dave. He's as hard working a man as AJ is so if Dave sounded a bit off then consider excusing him for that. Thanks again AJ.

I wonder how much of the bashing comes from the same Metallica heads that also out file sharers for swapping the most hypocritical band on the planet's music.
