If the following is true:

"Furthermore, HJR 1003 alleges, without offering any evidence or explanation, that past and current U.S. leaders may have violated the Constitution and committed crimes against the states and the country."

Then whoever was behind this was irresponsible as hell, you don't create resolutions without having solid evidence.  Sounds to me like he is flat out lying though, and he was probably threatened by Northcom.  Someone with more expertise on this needs to flesh this out.  But it sounds to me like the Governor is complicit and capitualting to treason by his actions here.  In such cases this is where we need to implement citiznes arrest and remove these people as enemy combatant terrorists, enemies of the constitutional Republic.  Over 100 years ago the American people enforced punishment of treason directly, and dragged Governors and so forth out of their offices into the street and beat the living hell out of them.  Sorry folks, treason is punishable by 3 things:

1) PERMANENT REMOVAL FROM, AND DISBARMENT FROM EVER HOLDING ANY PUBLIC/GOVT. OFFICE FOR LIFE, IN ADDITION TO EITHER:

2) LIFE IN PRISON (I THINK MINIMUM 25 YEARS)

3) DEATH

Does the Oklahoma state constitution give the legislature the power/right to override the governor's veto? If so, then OVERRIDE THE VETO!

It appears Henry is working for the wrong people, and OKLAHOMANS need to call him on it, and fire him!

The nature of Resolutions is the fact that they do not require a governor's signature since it merely expresses the will of the two houses of the legislature... the governor cannot veto a resolution. He especially cannot veto one that upholds the Constitution on it's face.

This has to be something else...

Edit:  I just talked with Charles Key... it seems that Joint Resolutions in Oklahoma require a Governors signature... he says that they can try a Concurrent resolution which doesn't require a signature, but that does not have the same "umph".... He doesn't believe that he has the votes in the Senate for a veto override, he has enough in the House however, but you need both!

Time to bend the ear of the Oklahoma state senate!

All the governors are establishment hacks. Did you know that when WV governor Arch Moore went to prison, he was treated like a prince? Name me one prisoner allowed to walk freely, have really good dinners, and play golf. I'll name one: Arch Moore.

I'm afraid it is SO!   Yep, the Govs are bought and paid for just like many of our spineless Congressmen who just kiss up to whoever helps keep them in office.  Kiss

I have been help ost your info and JT's on another tenth amendment site, and when he called OK leg clerk to confirm, they actually told him that it didn't need the signature to be valid.  It was either incompetence or a lie!

South Carolina just keeps rescheduling over and over and over... its like watching paint dry.

Good News! Rep Key reintroduced another Bill, HCR 1028. This bill doesn't require the Gov. signature.

Search for HCR 1028 using last blank on page (Search 2009-10 House Measures):

Passed the House quickly - now if the Oklahoma senate will vote as quickly and pass it then the Governor can not do a thing about it! This one does not need his signature!

Both Houses have passed this resolution and it's on the way to Congress and the President.
