For some human to get this combo flu ... A pig would have to have contracted and survived, both the Swine, Avian flu strains ...and then pass them onto human who survived. Swine, and Avian flu strains have high mortality rates.  Avian flu is rare, and cross-species infection is more uncommon.

Plus the strange fact that all confirmation of this current outbreak happens only in the C.D.C. facility in Atlanta GA.  I find this small tibit of information amazingly odd.  When some group wants to control sensitive information, the first textbook step is to limit it's access to a very select group.

I imagine that if "out of the loop" virologists actually had a chance to confirm, and study this totally new flu bug, then they might see the tell-tale signs of manufacturing, rather then mother nature's cooking.

Health officials are testing several more cases of suspected swine flu around Massachusetts among people recently back from Mexico, as expectations that the epidemic will take hold here are rising.

While state health officials yesterday reported no confirmed cases of swine flu, Massachusetts General Hospital reported that it had sent samples from “several patients” for testing. The patients were treated recently at the MGH emergency room for flu-like symptoms after traveling abroad and tested positive in initial flu tests.

In Spencer, two more young kids who became sick after a trip to Mexico last week are being tested. Ralph Hicks, superintendent of the Spencer East Brookfield Regional School District, said the elementary-aged siblings had fevers, sore throats and belly aches.

Frank Singleton, director of the Lowell Health Department, said yesterday evening that he is still waiting to get word from the state on the results of tests taken Monday of two brothers, 8 and 10, who came down with the flu after returning from a family trip to Mexico.

“We still have not heard,” said Singleton, adding that he suspects the federal Centers for Disease Control are overwhelmed with flu samples sent from across the country.

Jennifer Manley of the state Department of Public Health said the agency is not going to discuss any suspected cases of swine flu until getting positive tests back from the CDC.

“We are only going to talk about confirmed cases, of which we have zero at the present time,” Manley said. The agency is expected to get new equipment by the end of the week that would allow its state lab to conduct tests for the swine flu, cutting down the waiting period. It also expects a shipment from the federal government of 200,000 courses of antiviral medications to supplement its stockpile of 50,000 doses that could help combat the spread of swine flu.

Despite global fears, Bay Staters arriving from Mexico at Logan International Airport yesterday reported a relaxed atmosphere in resort areas and on their flights.

“There didn’t seem to be a high level of concern. Very few people had masks.” said Angela Dennis, 31, of Dorchester, who flew back from Cancun.

“I’m not really concerned,” said Dave Ackerknecht, 32, of Southie. “From the things I’ve heard, it’s really not much more deadly than the regular winter flu.”

Meanwhile, public health officials took to the airwaves to advise people to wash their hands regularly. At Mass. General, staff “greeters” gave out surgical masks at the ER to people with flu symptoms, said Dr. David Hooper, chief of the MGH infection control unit.

Singleton said he suspects it’s only a matter of time before the swine flu hits the Bay State hard.

“Even if it stays fairly mild, it will sicken a lot of people in a short period of time,” Singleton said. He suggested if the pandemic explodes, “You could have one million in Massachusetts coming down with the flu.”

Orange County Register:  UPDATE: Swine flu likely to hit Orange County

Local health officials said  swine flu will likely hit Orange County and have ordered a full supply of antiviral drugs in preparation.

While 11 Californians have contracted the flu, there are seven more probable cases that have not yet been confirmed by testing, state officials said Tuesday afternoon.

David Riley, acting director of the Health Care Agency, said that, given the spread of swine flu, he believes there’s a strong likelihood a case will emerge in Orange County, although none have yet.
Riley said the agency requested its full supply of antiviral medicine from the state — 275,000 doses. They already have 3,000 doses.

State health officials expect the outbreak to last for six to eight weeks and the severity could increase.

Additionally, HCA has alerted officials at John Wayne Airport to look out for signs of potentially sick people getting off planes there. And they’re working with the sheriff’s department to monitor inmates coming in and out of the jails and juvenile detention centers to make sure nobody introduces the disease to those populations.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has declared a state of emergency, while telling Californians not to panic about swine flu.

His action gives permission for state health agencies to enter into any contracts needed to respond to the outbreak and to expand laboratory testing.

Carnival Cruise Corp. has canceled its cruises to Mexican ports.

Meanwhile, with swine flu causing panic in Mexico, it’s a reminder that regular flu claims American lives every year, particularly among the very young and very old. It’s not too late to get a flu shot, either. California will receive $23 million in federal stimulus money for childhood immunizations, including flu shots. Last year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expanded the flu shot recommendation to include children ages 5 to 18. Previously, it was 6 months to age 4.

    * Nationally, during the 2007-08 flu season, 83 children died of influenza type A or B. The CDC does not have the exact number of total deaths because only pediatric deaths are nationally notifiable. However, an estimated 36,000 people die each year from the flu.
    * In 2004, 637 Orange County residents of all ages died of influenza or pneumonia. That’s the most recent statistic available.

While media is still referring to this flu outbreak as a swine flu, this is a misnomer. According to Reuters, this strain is not infecting pigs and has never been seen in pigs. The threat is person to person transmission. It is also a genetic hybrid containing DNA typical to avian, swine and human viruses, including elements from European and Asian swine viruses. Someone tell me how this could occur in nature without mankinds help.

Also I believe that Baxter will be supplying the vaccines. Aren’t they the same manufacturer who accidently got some of the LIVE bird flu virus in their vaccines? God help us, we have a real problem here.

According to the CDC, the expected annual fatalities from any type of flu is just under 40,000 in the US annually. So far, we’re at about 50 that are supposedly infected, and zero deaths. I’m all for “getting out in front” of the issue, but isn’t this a little alarmist? Sounds a little bit like “We need to spend 6 trillion dollars to created the most bloated government in the history of mankind, or we’re all DOOMED!!!” I can’t wait for the extra TRILLION dollars they’re going to “need” to spend on this “emergency.”

Is there any hard evidence of laboratory origins?

As of this moment, I have not personally seen any conclusive evidence of laboratory origins for this H1N1 swine flu. I am open to the possibility that new evidence may emerge in this direction, however, and I am suspicious of the genetic makeup of the virus as one possible indicator of its origins.

I am not a medical specialist in the area of infectious disease, but I have studied microbiology, genetics and a considerable amount of material on pandemics. What seems suspicious to me is the hybrid origin of the viral fragments found in H1N1 influenza. According to reports in the mainstream media (which has no reason to lie about this particular detail), this strain of influenza contains viral code fragments from:

• Human influenza
• Bird Flu from North America
• Swine flu from Europe
• Swine flu from Asia

This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means an infected bird from North America would have had to infect pigs in Europe, then be re-infected by those some pigs with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infected pigs there, and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs -- in Mexico! -- and spread it to others. (This isn't the only explanation of how it could have happened, but it is one scenario that gives you an idea of the complexity of such a thing happening).

We need to push our government right now to acquire knowledge and remain accountible for all cases of H1N1, we need to require transparecy, the must present a full and accurate account, so that we can focus on all things "of the state", rather than being led astray with misleading numbers, and hence focusing on that.

As you know I have been watching the Bird Flu very closely and warning you folks about it for years. I want you to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to the FACTS of this new Swine Outbreak, and tell me if you think that this is just a natural occurrence.

MEXICO CITY, April 24 (Reuters) - A strain of flu never seen before has killed as many as 61 people in Mexico and has spread into the United States, where eight people have been infected but recovered, health officials said on friday.

Now the way this starts off, sounds like no big deal. The CDC has even said, do not worry about traveling to Mexico. No reason to worry. However, what about these facts?

Mexico's government said at least 16 people have died of the disease in central Mexico and that it may also have been responsible for 45 other deaths.

The World Health Organization said tests showed the virus in 12 of the Mexican patients had the same genetic structure as a new strain of swine flu, designated H1N1, seen in eight people in California and Texas.

Because there is clearly human-to-human spread of the new virus, raising fears of a major outbreak, Mexico's government canceled classes for millions of children in its sprawling capital city and surrounding areas.

So Mexico, which suspect not 61 cases, but over a THOUSAND, are closing schools and starting to get a handle on people's travels and what their people are doing. CDC?

"Our concern has grown as of yesterday," U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acting director Dr. Richard Besser told reporters in a telephone briefing.

Well, that's good. But it really does not seem likely that this is a natural occurrence.

It first looked mostly like a swine virus but closer analysis showed it is a never-before-seen mixture of swine, human and avian viruses, according to the CDC.

OK. So we have the DNA of this Virus. It contains what causes some variation of Human Flu, along with that which causes Bird Flu, and that which causes Pigs to get the Flu. Is it even Scientifically possible that all these elements could come together and form this new Flu? Sorry, but as much as I have analysed this, NO.

Swine Flu can normally be transmitted from Pigs to Humans. Bird Flu, Birds to Humans. Human Flu, from Human to Human. So if you combine the Human to Human ability of transmission to Bird or Swine, then it becomes possible that once a Human contracts the Bird Flu, or in this case, Swine Flu, it becomes then possible to pass it along person to person.

Mexico's government cautioned people not to shake hands or kiss when greeting or to share food, glasses or cutlery for fear of infection.

The virus is an influenza A virus, carrying the designation H1N1. It contains DNA from avian, swine and human viruses, including elements from European and Asian swine viruses, the CDC has said.

(CNN) -- As Hayden Henshaw was being rushed to the doctor's office after becoming ill, his father heard that his son's classmates had been struck with the deadly swine flu virus like the one sweeping through Mexico.

Patrick Henshaw called his wife immediately to have Hayden checked for it. Later, they received the bad news.

Hayden had become the third confirmed case of swine flu at his Texas high school. It is a virus that has killed 68 people in Mexico and infected at least eight people in the United States.

Health officials arrived at the Henshaws' house Friday and drew blood from the whole family, then told them to stay inside and away from the public, Henshaw told CNN.

The whole family is quarantined indefinitely, according to CNN-affiliate KABB. Henshaw said his family was shocked when they got the news about their son.

"Stunned. My wife was having a panic attack," Henshaw told the affiliate.

U.S. health officials have expressed concern about U.S. cases of a swine flu virus that has similar characteristics to the fatal virus in Mexico.

More than 1,000 people have fallen ill in Mexico City in a short period of time, U.S. health experts said.

"This situation has been developing quickly," Richard Besser, acting director of the Atlanta, Georgia-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said Friday. "This is something we are worried about."

So why is this not on EVERY news outlet, warning people about traveling to Mexico? Why has President Obama and his Crew NOT come out and made a statement about this growing danger, securing the Boarder between us and what appears to be Ground Zero, Mexico? Why are there still some in this country pushing for wide open boarders and Amnesty?

New York health officials said Friday they were testing about 75 students at a school in New York City for swine flu after the students exhibited flu-like symptoms this week.

A team of state health department doctors and staff went to the St. Francis Preparatory School in the borough of Queens on Thursday after the students reported cough, fever, sore throat, aches and pains.

Test results are expected as early as Saturday.

Surveillance for and scrutiny of influenza has been stepped up since 2003, when H5N1 bird flu reappeared in Asia. Experts fear that or another strain could spark a pandemic that could kill millions.

In Egypt, a 33-year-old woman died of bird flu, becoming the third such victim there in a week. The H5N1 bird flu, a completely different strain from the swine flu, has infected 421 people in 15 countries and killed 257 since 2003.

An outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, killed 44 people in Canada in 2003.

Jakarta - Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari said Tuesday the deadly swine flu virus could have been man-made, as she urged calm over its spread around the world.

The controversial minister did not elaborate but in the past she has said Western governments could be making and spreading viruses in the developing world to boost pharmaceutical companies' profits.

"I'm not sure whether the virus was genetically engineered but it's a possibility," she told reporters at a press conference called to reassure the public over the government's response to the swine flu threat.

No cases of the disease have been reported in Indonesia, the country worst hit by the bird flu virus which has killed about 250 people worldwide since 2003.

Indonesian authorities have increased body temperature scanners at airports and banned imports of live pigs and pork products, amid World Health Organisation (WHO) warnings of a pandemic.

Supari, a cardiologist, also claimed that the H1N1 strain of swine flu, which is believed to have killed more than 150 people in Mexico, could not survive in tropical countries like Indonesia.

"We have to be alert at all times although swine flu in Indonesia is not a cause for panic," she said.

"H1N1 survives in countries with four seasons. The type A H1N1 virus hopefully won't be able to sustain itself once it enters the tropical climate of Indonesia," she added.

The virus has been found in 11 countries including Mexico, the United States and Spain, while several other countries from Colombia to New Zealand are investigating suspected cases.

Supari said the health ministry had prepared 100 hospitals to handle swine flu cases should the disease enter Indonesia.

The minister has refused since 2006 to share all but a handful of Indonesia's bird flu virus samples with WHO researchers, saying the system is being abused by rich countries to develop profitable vaccines which poor countries must buy.

The latest bioterrorism attack by the New World Order is likely a beta test. Yes, it is a bioterrorism attack. It was a hybrid strain created from human, swine, and bird flu from North America, Europe, and Asia. It was created in a laboratory. This doesn’t happen in nature.

Baxter was caught shipping a weaponized avian bird flu mixed strain in their vaccines last month in Europe. Again, this is proof that this deadly virus was created in a laboratory because they did exactly that last month. Bayer was caught shipping HIV in their drugs in the 80s. Both of these events are published in mainstream newspapers. You can use Google like everyone else to find them.

I predicted this event last month in my documented and linked article when Baxter was caught. If Baxter was trying to do this, they weren’t going to stop trying, especially when Baxter wasn’t even prosecuted for the crime, and the television news was completely silent about it.

It seems someone wasn’t caught this time before they were able to make delivery of the virus. Not that anyone would be prosecuted for bioterrorism. They weren’t prosecuted the previous numerous times where they were caught.

This latest flu hasn’t been widespread and not that deadly. It seems to be just a beta test and not the real release to drastically reduce the population of the world.

Yes, the ruling elite want to reduce the population of the world. They write about it in their books, in their think tank documents, in government documents, and at their conferences. You won’t hear about it on television news because they’re part of the mainstream media trust, along with AP and Reuters, which are all owned by the same people.

They add the industrial waste and active ingredient of rat poison, known as fluoride, in your water, causing your brain, liver, and bones to rot and decay. They add mercury, which is as toxic as lead or arsenic, to the vaccines as a preservative, causing autism and sudden infant death syndrome, among several other things. Yes, the government hates you and wants to kill you. Government loves war and death.

Before any scientist does anything drastic they always do a beta test. They are studying several different things such as how far it spreads and how fast. They are studying if it mutates. They are studying if they’ll get away with the crime.

Mexico seems like an ideal distribution point since they know it would spread to the United States. There are less safeguards in Mexico than the United States, but the United States is the primary target. Americans have a Second Amendment right, which makes Americans a big threat to the New World Order and the ruling elite’s power.

It is your duty not to make the latest beta test a success by screaming about it. Scream about it to your elected representatives and to the media. Demand justice.

The sick part about this is that they are using vaccines to spread the virus. The cure for the bioterrorism attack is the method of delivery so take vaccines at your own risk. Take a rat or your local politician to the doctor with you to beta test the vaccine before you take it.

The real test will be much more deadly and much more widespread. They’ll bring in martial law when it happens and take the rest of our rights away if we happen to survive a large scale bioterror attack.

This is why you must awaken everybody that the government and big corporations are the terrorists, not Islamic brown people hiding in caves. Switch the word “Islamic” with the word “Jew”, and you’ll understand how Hitler came to power in a democratic society. Even more sickening is that the company just caught putting weaponized virus in their vaccines is developing the vaccine, in record time, for this latest virus. Illinois-based Baxter working on swine flu vaccine.

You can’t deny the facts that the same company developing the vaccine for the latest virus was also just recently caught trying to distribute a deadly virus combination in their vaccine.

Quite right. A simple pandemic would not eliminate 90+%. Natural immunity would no doubt emerge and the disease would burn out.

Of course if a large percentage of people who are afraid of getting the flu receive a contaminated vaccination then the fatality rate would be much higher.

The vaccinated could also become carriers and infect even more people as with the polio vaccine.

There are many scenarios that could increase the fatalities. How many global deaths it would take to start a serious breakdown in supply chain and infrastructure world wide. That could lead to even further deaths due to malnutrition, starvation, disease and violence.

Dr Horowitz said of Dr James Robertson and friends that nobody else takes H5N1 Asian-flu infected chickens, brings them to Europe, extracts their DNA, combines their proteins with H1N1 viruses from the 1918 Spanish flu isolate, additionally mixes in some swine flu genes from pigs, then reverse engineers them to infect humans.

He mentioned the name Dr Rick Bright of the CDC - here he is and he has been involved in work to do with monitoring of the influenza virus using pyrosequencing.

My guess is that this movie script is for conditioning.  It will involve a few hundred deaths (hopefully no more as there are already at least 200 in Mexico) and many sick, more terrorized. But they will ratchet it up all the way until martial law.

This will condition us to expect similar protocol when they release the real bioweaponry.

But, they could change the wargame into real-time at the nod of the three headed monster (Rockefeller/Rothdschild/Beatrix).  I do not think that is the plan (as Janet Napolitano alluded to) but they change plans all of the time.

That's very interesting Sane, because on the NZ news last night, it was mentioned there were 66 suspected cases in NZ and NZ was the 6th country to confirm it had the virus.   I thought it may have been a coincidence, but after seeing that, I don't.  There was no mention all of the supposed "suspected cases" tonight in the news.

if it spread by eating I dont mean to brag, but these are the times I savor for being a vegetarian, same with mad cow, and foot n mouth etc. most diseases are caused by our meat industry, the body doesnt need meat to survive, and plus it causes the most green house emissions. I say piss off all the meat, grow soy/ wheat (for gluten very high in protein) and we can all live an extra 5-10 years longer, have less cancers/ degenerative diseases, and stop the spreading of animal caused outbreaks, its win win.
and for all the people that say we need meat to survive, no you dont, you have just been taught that through brainwashing/ social engineering etc so that you will live shorter lives
