I have only been following Alex's show and 9/11 truth for a little over a year now, so sorry if I'm not familiar with all of the data out there. Are there any solid ideas as to when explosives could have been planted in the buildings?

I just happened to remember something few weeks ago which I thought might be important. Back when I was a senior in high school, my class took a trip to New York in April of 2000. Every year, they would go to the top of one of the world trade centers. This year however, we could not go to the top. We could only go up to about the 80th floor. Everything above that was closed off. The explanation given was that they were doing renovations.

There should be records of this, right?

It sounds like you might be corroborating what Kevin Ryan has written about on 9/11 blogger here...
