Wow, a completely fair interview with Dr. Ron Paul. Rachel could not have been more respectful (she usually is, but this time she really went out of her way to make sure people got the freedom and constitution message).
I'll post the youtube when it comes out.

So the stories leading into Ron Paul interview were carefully chosen, with one story about the Crazy Birthers followed by Crazy Texans and Booze. Next comes the GOP is LOST. Amazing manipulation. Bravo, Well Played. The Dark Side of the Force is Strong in you Ms Maddow.

She is an Obamanoid and works for Queen Elizabeth. But, the recent torture BS and Pakistan BS has rubbed her the wrong way. Other than D.L.Hughley, I have not seen a more fair interview on the MSM in a long time.

It may seem like a nice interview, but this happens -- what? Once every few months?
This is a half-hearted attempt to keep the ultraconservatives leaning towards MSNBC/Obama. Or maybe I'm being too harsh.

ultraconservatives leaning towards MSNBC/Obama? because of an interview that happens once every few months? I do not think you are being too harsh, just not following the logic in your defeatism.

Well, Rachel Maddow sucks up to Obama constantly, and he does all the big nation building/spending/money printing that Paul criticised in this interview. It's clear that Rachel doesn't really believe in what Paul has to say, but, rather, is interviewing him for the purpose of slandering the Republicans. To sum up what I'm trying to say: She knew Paul would be critical of the Republicans, which is why she invited him on.

"She knew Paul would be critical of the Republicans, which is why she invited him on." Actually, anyone can do that. Dr. Paul gives clear reasons to be critical of the fake republicans. He exposes that the current GOP is run by a bunch of socialist war mongering cowards controlled by the International Banking Elite. Very similar to the current Democratic party. This has also been exposed by Democrats. Those constitutionalists that actually care about this country appearing on prime MSM programming might be a bad thing as far as you see it, but because of the internet we can play 200x of those interviews back to back without ever turning on the TV. This was just another excellent interview to add to the jukebox and to create patriotic montages with. It also continues to show that Dr. Ron Paul is the voice of tens of millions of people who are more and more disguusted with both the GOP and the Democratic party. ROn Paul has 124 cosponsors for groundbreaking legislation (last year he could not find one). Over a dozen are democrats. He is becoming the voice of reason to the unbelievable economic mess we are in and is directing the anger where it should be on the private owners of the federal reserve. Obama and Maddow are just paper pushing puppets, but she had him on her show (again). And when she does she is respectful (unlike 90% of others). I think that when she got her show her orders were clear...attack GOP morons and shower Obama with love and admiration. She was very agressive against Bush for the wars and the torture when he was in power. She has not been critical of Obama's wars (which is totally insane), but she has been critical of the torture stuff. WHo knows what the deal is, I definitely agree that 75% of her show or higher is still not worth watching. But having Ron Paul on breaks the left/right paradigm. That is why most shows will not have him on unless pushed to a wall.
