http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_Hovind

Please read this in its entirety. It's a doctor who rejects evolution and some of the most basic established scientific principles, and also who talks about New World Order conspiracies.

I'm not sure if this is someone trying to discredit our movement, or someone who legitimately believes what he says.

All thoughts appreciated.

yeah, put em in jail. tha'll make people not listen, right? dumbass lawmakers.

My interpretation of his challenge:

    1. Time, space, and matter came into existence by themselves.
    2. Planets and stars formed from space dust.
    3. Matter created life by itself.
    4. Early life-forms learned to reproduce themselves.
    5. Major changes occurred between these diverse life forms (i.e., fish changed to amphibians, amphibians changed to reptiles, and reptiles changed to birds or mammals).

1) They willed themselves into existence.
2) we have pictures of step by step planet formation. sadly people dont get to live that long to see it happen themelves.
3) matter is mostly an illusion anyhow. refer to 1)
4) isnt self replication the most pervasive driving force in the world? even today we're looking to make AI and shit.
5) isnt this the "missing link"? if you listen to david icke at all that's why there is none. even if there was, you think the elites would have left it in tact?

I feel making any sort of "I KNOW FOR SURE WHAT HAPPENED!!!!" is just a false mindset. science is NEVER 100% correct. anyone knows that we never really know anything and when its 5000+ years ago and we have the kind of control grid we have today, knowing the truth is going to be extremely difficult. Im starting to think its some kind of odd hybrid of the 2 theories and since they f**king stole religion from us they went and f**ked our heads up about the real past (dargons be there!) . Also, asking someone to totally disprove whatever argument you pose is realistically unfair. If someone proved anything pointing either direction Im sure it'd be buried anyways. Keep the false dichotomy going, keep the anger brewing, stop the conversations, start the war.

Kent opened my eyes to the bs evolutionism, and brought me back to the truth
from the no Creator outlook (taught in schools since they stole JFK from us), to
the idea of a creation, a Creator, and a relatively young earth.

I dont think even the bible supports the idea of a young earth. But I doubt anyone they through in jail for hard time for tax issues is controlled opposition or provocateur no matter how off base they are.

Well in my analysis if this man is indeed rejecting the most basic established scientific principles then it is no doubt due to bad humors in his blood. I recommend applying leeches and then bleeding the man.

You're absolutely correct forgive me. The consensus is in, the debate is over, everyone agrees.

We monkeys are heating up our 4.6 billion year old earth with carbon emissions.

How could I be so foolish as to doubt dating rock strata by fossil indicators and fossils by the rock strata in which they are found ?

What is wrong with me that I could not see this basic scientific principle for what it is ? Hogwash.

Hovind seems like a good guy.

I'm not a young-earth creationist but I do think evolution was pseudo-science propaganda pushed in the same way the global warming fraud is being pushed now (but they didn't have to worry about alternative media back then).

Anyone genuinely interested in the issue should check out Gerald Schroeder--he has some videos on youtube. Basically, the main idea he puts out is that the Bible not only does not claim a young earth but actually fits perfectly with a 15 billion year old universe (as measured from earth). He states it much more convincingly than that--check it out.

I agree with a lot of what Kent Hovind states.

I come from a family in which every single member of our family has worked in scientific research. Myself, I worked in genetics and did some terrible things before I saw the light. While many people on this forum have digested that global warming is a hoax ( certainly bad science ) few of the posters have digested that evolution is also simply bad science. Sadly any mention of evolution seems to stir up some religous troll festival.

Evolution is a core illuminati mystery babylon religous concept, with the stated goal of producing the ultimate superman the illuminated one.

Before flaming me consider that since I hold a few scientific firsts, and have done things like create a GM Crop (Maize), that just possibly I might know what I am talking about.

I watched some of Geralds videos on your recommendation, he seems reasonable. However his voice is worse than nails on chalkboard to me, and it takes him 15 minutes to say something that should be said in 3. He repeats himself too much, he might have some form of stuttering like he has a brain tumor or something. If he wrote material and let someone else speak it would be much better.

Kent had a lot of good things to say, shortly after 911 he had an article on his site about some of the inconsistancies in the official story. A few months later the article was gone, I've never heard why it was taken down. I'd already had all his material by that time and had moved on to other issues so I haven't followed his story until after I heard he was in jail.

There are a number of good sites on creation science.

Censorship in Texas

Fighting Academic and Religious Discrimination

On April 24, 2008, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) in Austin, Texas, denied the request of the Institute for Creation Research Graduate School (ICRGS) to move its 27-year-old Master of Science program to Texas. Why? Because ICRGS does not teach science from an evolution-only viewpoint.

I would recommend checking out Schroeders stuff also he at least backs up his ideas with more than just the Bible....

Some of Hovinds stuff is quite good to though.

Regardless of the creationism issue, I believe Kent Hovind is genuine. He actually knows about the NWO:

I have watched a lot of kent's stuff on line in video format,  He and Walter Veith have similar views as to the earth coming into existence and veith  headed up the evolution science dept. at a major university, in fact veith was so well respected that they let him keep his job even after he told the entire dept. that evolution was nothing but rubbish.  He said he knew he would be ridiculed but could no longer tell the lie at the expense of his soul. From earlier I am familiar with Kent Hovind and trust him as a truthteller, which is saying alot because there are only a few people that I really trust speaking of Jesus. Texe Marrs is the one I have listened the most to. I have never before heard of Walter Veith and just now heard his speech on how he came to believe in the Lord and I found it extremely interesting to listen to. So thank you tritonman for bringing him to my attention and I will certainly listen to him more.
