On January 8th, 2007, the Woolstores Shopping Complex in Fremantle, Western Australia, encountered a strange gas leak. Within minutes of it being reported, fire & emergency services (FESA) had shut down half of Fremantle, many roads going in/out of the port town and also stopping buses from leaving the city for up to an hour. Hours later, FESA reported they had found NO trace of any toxin (even with their sophisticated air sampling equipment), the TV news reported it was (likely) pepper spray and the following day the newspaper contradicted both of these and said it was refridgerant gas (ammonia for industrial refridgeration - of which the symptoms were not consistant, as ammonia causes eye irritation, as does pepperspray - and this was not reported by victims). Even to this day the victims (mostly staff and customers of the Coles Supermarket) have not been told what they ingested and made them sick for up to a week - not by FESA nor medical personell.
What makes this even stranger is that on this * SAME DAY * gas leaks were reported around the globe - and each case was similar - the symptoms (NYC/NJ & Fremantle), the fact Federal Emergency Services were put to work in each case evacuating and shutting down suburbs/towns, and the fact the gas was not identifiable.

Fremantle, Western Australia causing sickness (difficulty breathing, coughing and nausea), evacuations and transport disruptions out of port city... both chemical and source <unknown> even after rigorous testing by chemical experts and FESA. FESA media liaison officer Mike Klenner said “We didn’t find anything, we didn’t know what the problem was – the readings on our detection equipment
amounted to zero,” Mr Klenner said. It was circulated very efficiently, although "we don't know what sort at this stage, or the actual means by which it circulated throughout the store," a police spokesman said.

absolute nonsense. Why were no people showing

* * * AS A SIDE NOTE:
At the time of the gassing at Coles Fremantle, the store was undergoing a refit from BROAD Construction Company. Police commented they were puzzled as to how the gas/toxin was so efficiently circulated. This would mean that somehow it was fed into the airconditioning system of the entire shopping complex. During the Coles Supermarket refit there were workmen in the roof constantly, and there may have been access ways left open/accessible to the wider complex's air ducts. This was never a line of investigation for the police despite their mystefied comments. What is definitely interesting is that BROAD Contruction
have clear ties to the Military Industrial Complex, as they are building a submarine maintenance facility for the Australian Navy.
http://www.broad.com.au/default.aspx?ContentID=88&menuid=29Regardless, victims are still waiting on a definitive explanation as to what made them so sick for so long, but it does not look as though they will get one.

Was this some kind of co-ordinated gas testing by authorities.... on a global scale?
....the odds of (same day, same modus opperandi) coincidence...
Many of the incidents were limited to local news sources of the respecting areas, so finding meant some serious googling.
Declassified documents have shown that in the past the US government has a history of conducting chemical and biological agent tests on an unwitting population. Project SHAD involved the use of live toxins and chemical poisons on American servicemen on American soil, spraying clouds of bacteria over San Francisco, releasing toxic gases into the New York subway, holding open-air biological and chemical weapons tests in at least four states in the 1960s.

http://www.infowars.com/articles/terror/terror_drills_london_dirty_bomb_test_fitting_contraptions_to_light_poles.htmOn a personal note, within hours of the 'gas leak' at Coles Supermarket Fremantle in West Aust, and the realisation that things weren't adding up, I said that this story would be put away. Sure enough, it was. The following day The West Australian (W.A.'s only major state newspaper) gave the story a tiny few lines on the 4-5th page, giving information completely contradicting other media, FESA, police and even Coles management - even though it made 1st story TV news headlines on every station the night before. I've worked at that Coles in a part time capacity for 10 years and know alot of the victims very well... from their experiences, lack of answers and from reading the information I collated, they agree something is definitely up.
