Infamous Video Of A Marine Shooting An Unarmed Insurgent

Description:  On November 13, 2004, a U.S. Marine with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines was videotaped shooting a wounded, unarmed prisoner to death in a mosque. The incident, which came under investigation, created controversy throughout the world. The man was shot at close range after he and several other badly wounded Iraqi prisoners had previously been left behind overnight in the mosque by the U.S. Marines. The Marine shooting the man had been mildly injured by insurgents in the same mosque the day before, and was later acquitted of the charge of manslaughter in May 2005 on grounds that he had reason to believe the man was armed.

U.S. Soldiers Burning Taliban Bodies In Southern Afghanistan

Description:  A recent operation of the U.S. PSYOP involved the public burning of enemy bodies in Afghanistan and filmed by freelance journalist Stephen Dupont. Dupont reported that the PSYOP soldiers claimed the bodies were to be burned due to hygiene concerns. The decision by a Tactical PSYOP Team with the 173rd Airborne to burn the bodies in public to try and lure enemy fighters to attack has become a public relations issue for the U.S. Army. During the War on Terror U.S. PSYOP teams often broadcast abrasive messages over loudspeakers to try tempting enemy fighters into a direct confrontation where the Americans have the upper hand. In the Afghanistan incident, a PSYOP sergeant broadcast the following message to the Taliban: Attention, Taliban, you are all cowardly dogs. You allowed your fighters to be laid down facing west and burned. You are too scared to retrieve their bodies. This just proves you are the lady boys we always believed you to be. Another soldier stated: You attack and run away like women. You call yourself Talibs but you are a disgrace to the Muslim religion and you bring shame upon your family. Come and fight like men instead of the cowardly dogs you are. However, according to the Army Times, the SBS broadcast did not include audio of the soldiers broadcasting the message. U. S. authorities were to investigate the incident, which may have contravened the Geneva Convention. The PSYOP soldiers that were responsible for these acts were trying harass the enemy, a common practice used by PSYOP teams in the past and widely publicized during its employment in the 2004 battle for Fallujah.

British Soldiers Filmed Beating Iraqis

Description:  In February 2006 a video showing a group of British soldiers apparently beating several Iraqi teenagers was posted on the Internet, and shortly thereafter, on the main television networks around the world. The video, taken from an upper story of a building in the southern Iraqi town of Al-Amarah, shows many Iraqis outside a coalition compound. Following an altercation in which members of the crowd tossed rocks and reportedly an improvised grenade at the solders, the British soldiers rushed the crowd. The troopers brought some Iraqi teenagers into the compound and proceeded to beat them. The video includes a voiceover in an British accent, apparently by the cameraman, taunting the beaten teenagers. The individual recording it could be heard saying: Oh, yes! Oh Yes! Now you gonna get it. You little kids. You little motherf**king bitch!, you little motherf**king bitch. The event was broadcast in mainstream media, resulting in the British government and military condemning the event. The incident has become especially worrisome for British soldiers, who had enjoyed a much more favorable position than American Soldiers in the region. Concerns were voiced to the media about the safety of soldiers in the country after the incident. The tape incurred criticism, albeit relatively muted, from Iraq, and media "vox-popping" in the country of course found people prepared to speak out. The Royal Military Police conducted an investigation into the event, and the prosecuting authorities determined that there was insufficient case to justify court martial proceedings.

It's hard to watch, but that's TRUTH! No one ever said the truth was easy. The reality is, when the dust settles, truth is all that's left, whether we like it or not. Those scenes of the soldiers may be in another country, but the cold hard facts are, the country they do those horrible things in next will be America if we don't rise up and put a stop to it!
