Yeah, you didn't read wrong.  I was loking at the GCNlive.com website and came across something interesting that I thought you guys could maybe clear this up for me.

If you click on this link above, it clearly states GCN is affiliated with ABC. Yes, the American Broadcasting Company (US radio and TV network).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but disney owns a part of ABC.. Isn't ABC our enemy? If so, why are we in bed with them?

Whats really stupid about the GCN link to ABC is that they are renting time on an ABC owned satellite. So some nut job says, thats the link, GCN is an ABC affiliate. Lots of other radio networks have to broadcast over other people's equipment. It's how it works. This does not make them an ABC affiliate and only an uneducated person would draw such a conclusion. No affiliation with ABC. GCN does have to pay a ton of dough for broadcast service on the Starguide III satellite. I believe ABC is considered a distributor of the service, if you take the time to read the Q&A on the same page. That technically makes GCN a customer. I go to Starbucks for an overpriced coffee occasionally as a customer, though I am not affiliated with Starbucks
