Angry It would be easy to say this fellow is just another example of the approaching police state. But no, it's far more likely that he's just one of many, many redneck cops who think their badges give them Godlike power.  If you think he's bad, just try driving away from a bar here in MormonTown, Oh, I mean Mesa. Heck, I've seen security guards as nasty as him.
What will be far more interesting, and more important, is what happens to the policeman.  If he's fired, which is what will probably happen, then revenge will be served. But if they do nothing then it means that even small town police departments are jumping on the President for life/dictatorship aspirations of the neo-cons in Washington.  And that worries me a great deal.

Allow me to say, definitavely, that being a St. Louis resident for decades and having worked with St. Louis policemen and women via secondary security work, this is no where near an isolated incident.  I have witnessed the bragging red necked racist and other bad cops glorify doing horrible things to people, and no matter what argument I posed to them (as an officer myself) they continued to claim that they were the law and where the badge goes they are justified.  I brought my concerns to my superiors and they were outright dismissed because I hadn't seen the glorified horrors for myself.
